David Movahhedi

Biography

David is a partner and co-founder of Fernhill Capital.

Prior to that, he was an Investment Director at Butler Industries, a leading investment firm specializing in complex situations, where he spent over five years.

He has led numerous investments across the services, consumer goods, and industrial sectors. He served as a board member of several market-leading companies, including NXO (formerly NextiraOne) - a telecom network integration leader in France, the luxury pastry group Pierre Hermé, SeaOwl - a key international player in maritime, defense, and energy services, and Moma Group - France’s leading independent hospitality group.

David began his career advising SMEs and mid-cap companies on mergers and acquisitions, having advised on nearly 30 transactions across a broad range of sectors.

Bertrand Ciron

Biography

Bertrand is a partner and co-founder of Fernhill Capital.

Prior to this, he was an Investment Director at Paluel-Marmont Capital and Development Director at Compagnie Lebon, where he worked for three years. He notably structured and developed the Group’s investment platform, including the acquisition of Re-Sources Capital and the launch of a co-investment fund.

He has completed around a dozen investments and co-investments across various sectors, including IT, education, hospitality, healthcare, services, consumer goods, and agri-food. He has served as a board member for several companies, including Securinfor (IT services), TapNation (mobile game publishing), and Snetor (plastic raw materials trading).

Bertrand began his career advising mid-sized companies on mergers and acquisitions at DC Advisory, where he worked for seven years and advised on nearly 20 transactions with a cumulative enterprise value of €6.5 billion.

He is also the manager of a family-owned cereal farm (flax, wheat, barley, and rapeseed) based in Normandy.
